FBM have been a household name in the BMX world for years now.
And it seems they have given their addition to the Fixed Gear world.
The FBM Sword Frame comes in a range of 51cm, 55cm and 59cm,
and is available in Aqua (pictured), Black and Red. Going on their bmx
frames you can probably expect a high quality trick frame that will
withstand anything thrown at it. But for £400 it has me thinking twice.

Just got in from a night out like, in a good enough state to
type though which is cool. Skated a few spots today and shot
some rolls of film which i'm lookinf forward to developing aswell.
Loft nightclub tonight was pretty dead tbh, dubstep night so I did
get a good few hours of brocking out in like. Much to my suprise
they played a Tempa T Next Hype dubstep remix, similar to this.

Which I may add is a billion times better in a dark UV lit, dry ice
ridden club, packed wall to wall with brockers and strobe lights.
Nuff' props to Tayo aswell for the lifts there and home, peace.

On my drive home from Lordswood I got a call from a very
bored Spud. Both sharing a common interest in Photogaphy
we decided to go shooting at midnight. Hell I wasn't tired anyway.
We went to a few spots and ended up at our secret abandoned
warehouse that we use to skate in. I wanted to try shooting some
images Crewdson style, and this is what I ended up with. Stoked.

Kalavinka x Adidas Originals. Japanese framebuilders Kalabinka
have teames up with Adidas to produce this for an upcoming bike
project, also seen here is what looks like a Samba Trainer with lace
protectors, should be cool to see what happens in the future.

I want some trousers that will last as well, just wanna buy
a new set of clothes that won't fade easy, rip easy or go out
of style easy. I loved my chino's since day. So I wanna get a slim
fitting pair of Dickies Work Pants in Navy and Khaki that will last
me a long long time. Things will withstand almost anything no lie!

Uni is pretty dope, met a few rad people so far, hopefully meet more.
The thing i'm enjoying most is having all the facilities available to me.
Gonna make use of them fo'sure. On a level though I have used a good
selection of equipment to add to my cameras already from the stores,
lenses and pocket wizards and such, got these for to play with for a week.

I am so fucking stoked right now, found out today that the
Charge Scissor forks have been released finally, and the frame
is due late October time, my waiting is finally over, I had plans
to set up a Plug with Handsome Dogs but fuck that idea sideways
now. I'm gonna splash out and get the Scissor I wanted all along.

Mark Read, or "Chopper" as he is more commonly known is one guy I can
honestly say I look up to, along with Michael Peterson or "Charles Bronson",
not for the violence side of things, more the views they share on things
and the respect they give and expect. But this comedy video about
Chopper destroyed me, whole series are so funny!

I am gonna start writing again, go bombing up town with
Joe and James when he gets his bike sorted out. Keen for
getting busses and lorries when i'm pulled up along side them.
Seeing as 98% of the time they are trying to knock me off my bike,

My track frame is not going to last long the way I am treating
it, so I have been looking for cheap but strong frames for tricking.
Charge are taking longer than I thought to release the Scissor frame
and I have been forced to look elsewhere. Volume are well known for
their strong, lightweight and high quality fixed gear frames, and after
looking around I fell in love with the V3 in RAW. Now to find the cash.

Screwed, Stewed and Tattooed. Spud got inked up a gooden last
night at Barn Dog's house. Getting his second sleeve well on it's way.
Nice choice of images, Cards, Cherries, Bombs, Dice, Roses and Anchors,
right up my old school street ahaa. Watched so many episodes of family guy.

I have been using my mates VX2000 recently to film a few
bits on whilst we have been out and about on our skateboarding
travels. It has really got me wanting to buy one now and I am quite
certain that a portion of my student loan will be spent on one.
Got me watching all of Pas and Jake's videos, one of my favourites.

I have got back into skateboarding again now, for good I hope.
Been skating with the crew lately visiting skateparks all over the place.
Went Swalecliffe, Crawley and Reigate yesterday thanks to Coops. Been
a good week. Saw the new Nike SB P-Rod advert yesterday. And to put
it bluntly, it's sick. Set in the exact sort of location I like. And Ice Cube!?

Went to Swalecliffe skatepark for the first time today. Fucking rad park, minus
the constant bursts of shit scented air blowing over from the sewage plant
next door. Got feebles and smiths down and nearly figured tre's. Skated a good
session with Lacy Knickers and the crew, sessioning lazer flips aswell. I also
filmed some shit on mike's VX. Most played song from my iPod today has to be.

A crew of us went skating for Leo's birthday in London. The usual spots
were sessioned, as well as Mile End skatepark too. Think it's relatively
new, but it was a rad park. With wallrides leading into bowls, blobs in
the middle of the park and the shop was in a camper van. I saw a few
people skating the Cappuchino Nike SB Stefan Janoski's, and fell in love.
Really got my heart set on a pair, oh well, birthday soon, £60 please.

Started watching the OZ series again, found a good website with
all the episodes from each series on. Forgot how fucking good it was
and have spent the last week glued to my laptop screen. Recommend

I have started shooting rolls and rolls of film again recently and I forgot
how much I loved the stuff. Got an old roll developed today when I was
in town and was so excited to see the outcomes. And it was worth it.
Probably the best roll of 35mm I have ever shot. I plan to use this more
from now on and my next project is shooting 35mm underwater in my pool.

My birthday is soon approaching. Finally turning 18. About fucking
time really, the amount of shit I have missed out on because of my age.
I'm trying to sort out a classic mini to rag about and work on. But
come September i'm starting uni and my student loan gets paid into
my account. I've decided to spend the first sum on the Charge Scissor
frameset, and build a trick bike, as long as they hurry up and release it.

Tonight is the Death Pedal premier down at 14BikeCo. in East London.
With free beers and Vans waffles to enjoy while you watch. With a trick
competition and longest skid competition should be a funny old night.
The event is sponsored by Vans, Fixed Gear London and Velo Cult,
so I can't imagine it being that bad, if it is, we'll head to the nearest pub.

People seem to be confused about the whole "fixed gear" culture, and
i'm constantly being asked, "so what do you actually do when you ride?"
Well my good friends Ric and Adrian from 44/16 have finally come up
with an answer. Filmed on a helmet cam, this video shows a typical
Tuesday night at Trixie Dix, starting with the meet at Trafalgar Square,
the ride to East, and finally what goes down on the roof of the Car Park.

Thought I would share with you one of my favourite photographers of all time,
Jamel Shabazz. Documenting the ‘Urban Life’ for over 30 years. Born and raised
in Brooklyn, NY he picked up his first camera at the age of 15 and proceeded
to record the world around him. He now has three successful books published
with work for a fourth on the way. He has been the base of my research in
many projects and has inspired me greatly. Old skool style at it's best.

Well not the best of nights I have had, that's all I can say. Granted, they did
provide the free beers and prizes as promised, but I don't really think it
had been planned very well. Benji B played a good set, but Madlib was no
where to be seen. By 10ish everything had died down and people started
to cut home. Our crew found a little side alley and the blunts started to roll.
After a good smoke, me and Scott made our way to Charing X.

10th Anniversary. With DJ Benji B from Radio 1, and free beers and prizes.
There are also rumours going around of a possible appearance by Madlib.

Last night was the Council of Doom film premier and Fixed magazine
issue 3 launch party. Free beers kicked off the night, but supplies
quickly ran dry. Foot-down competitions and trick sessions in the car
park of truman brewery added to the fun. Was a big turn out, but myself,
Ric and Adrian from 44/16 spent most of our time cracking jokes and
being generally plastered. But I did learn keo spins, which no doubt made
my night. 14BikeCo. know how to throw a party.
